I’m from KCMO, and found yall on youtube back in around 2020 while looking for some good gardening shows and I was watching Richard build his cabin on another channel. Danny looks like another friend of mine I go to church with so I started calling Danny, Ed, for quite a long time. But I love his cantankerous attitude, and him an I have the same belief on eradicating unwanted critters from my food sources. I would love to have some of Mr Als sweet potato’s to grow for next year but you don’t have that on your list! 🙂

I am not sure on the private messaging on here yet either. I just informed my wife of your suggestion and she was excited. We grew quite a few roma’s this year, and with those we only had one plant that did not have a blossom end rot issue. Do not want to go through that again next year. I would love to have you send me some as soon as I can figure how to send you the private message for address.

On the second year of my blackberry, it had a single shoot sprouted up over night and on that first night it grew about seemed like 3 foot, and then all the side shoots come from that. But before that I had several smaller shoots spring up when I first planted last year and the big main one shot up from those. But oh the berries were really sweet this year, not many but sweet. Hoping for a bumper crop next year. That is why I am asking about the pruning.

It wasn’t because of the blossom end rot that I was looking for the seed, but for the alternate tomato that I believe, has a better resistance to the BLE. I have several other types of tomatoes in the same area and soil conditions and not the same problem with the BLE. That is why I was looking at the amish paste and trying to find a location to purchase seeds. My wife could not find one last year in time. And that is why I asked about the seeds.
