Hey Wanda, I watched your live and you suggested we invite other channels to join here. I tried to do that in a few channels and YouTube deleted the comments! Guess they feel threatened by freesteading-

yeah, YT does not like folks with YT channels (like myself) to promote in other channels.
THIS site.. is a good way to get subs.. I attribute over 20 in the last few days to just joining here.

That would be nice, but maybe once this site is all set up. You have a huge project here. Baby steps LOL I laugh because I know how excited little ones are when they are taking their first steps. Yet, the reason I suggest letting everything here get settled and worked out, is that you can work on a video platform at that point. I hope that makes sense

I have noticed that YT doesn’t like links. Mebbe that’s what happened. The way to get around that is to suggest Freesteading dot com. Any reader with 2 brain cells will figger it out. Gotta go easy with it, wouldn’t want to blunder into a turf minefield.
On the other hand, I quit one prima donna prepper lady channel which I won’t mention. I made a helpful breaking news suggestion and my comment kept vanishing. I rewrote a couple of more times. Poof! Finally she replied instantly about the third time around that she was going to do a vid about whatever it was I was writing about. Obviously she was deleting as soon as I wrote the comments.

Unfortunately there are some people out there like that. I used to follow a lady who has a trike channel. She was camping alone in a national park in the PNW last summer, totally oblivious to the fact that wildfires were raging all around her. She was delighted to have the park to herself and gushing about it. When I warned her, she thanked me. Then a day later deleted my comments, deleted the link to the fire map I had provided, and made a video with drone footage of the fires and her dramatic “escape”. I unsubbed. I dont have time to deal with narcissists. She literally could have died.

Happened again last night. I left the FS suggestion…very low key in a kindly way on one of my top gotos. This guy would do very well here. He deleted. You’d think I cussed him. Many of these people are VERY territorial. To their discredit. I know this phenom has to be puzzling and frustrating the owners of this place. Glad to hear from ya!

How about we just use the word freesteading everytime we talk about homesteading? We all know what we are talking about, others wil question. Maybe freesteading wil not be deleted anymore.
