Yes, the US and her entangling alliances and horrible decisions on how to “make friends” has been exactly what has bit us in the ass time and time again.
Unless you share my actual world view (or a reasonably close version of it) on key topics: the free market over communism, freedom over tyranny, individualism over collectivism and things like that…you will NEVER be my true friend. As such, I will never find myself in a fox hole with you.
Thats the same short-sighted shit that got us here to begin with.

There is no difference. This is why, as a libertarian anarchist, I can call out the US government for its sins and Putin for his sins. I can see the bad on both sides, and when you don’t have a political side to defend, life becomes much better. Things make more sense, you can see the PSYOP everywhere and you don’t get pushed into a corner to take sides with evil.
I prefer to live free from the evil of both our nation and theirs. I prefer to call out the mess on both sides. I prefer to not take sides if it means that I’d have to pick the “lesser or two evils”. A choice for the lesser evil is still a choice for evil.

Enemy of my enemy is usually not my friend. Usually they are waring parties out for themselves. A momentary aligning of ideology does not a friend make. Of course Putin doesn’t like those things. They destroy culture. But wanting to maintain his culture over those things doesn’t make him or his culture good or friendly.
Only a fool would befriend the KGB. Same fools that let the Communists take Berlin.

The Ukraine conflict is not as simple as “Putin invaded Ukraine”. In fact the parts of Ukraine that were annexed by Putin wanted by the majority to return to the Russian Federation. After 2014, the Ukrainian government turned off the water and power to Crimea. This is part of what led up to the invasion by Putin. His people were being deprived of running water and electricity by the Ukrainian government as a means to get them to lose their allegiance to Russia.
This war also is older than even 2014. That’s when the fighting started, but the civil conflict goes back to 1990. The history of Russia and Ukraine is very complex and far more involved than just calling one side or the other bad. It is a case study in why the state itself is immoral and how it uses influence to damage people.
Putin is not the good guy, but he certainly isn’t the initiating aggressor. The US, NATO and Zelenski are the initiating aggressor. Part of how Reagan and Gorbachev ended the Cold War was agreeing that NATO would not advace further east and Russia would not advance into the Middle East. This agreement was held up by Russia. But NATO violated those original agreements almost every year to the point of including Turky and the Baltic states.
In all fairness, Russia is reacting to NATO aggression that easily could have been staved off. But the old war hawks from the Cold War era really want this war with Russia. So they have done everything they can to make it happen.
Invasion is never moral, but is can certainly be understood.
Did you all know that the first nation to call President Bush after 9-11 to offer help in destroying Muslim extremism was Russia? Russia wanted very much to become our ally against the surge of Muslim extremism. Guess who the second country to offer help to us was? Iraq. Saddam was a secular leader and hated Suni extremism too. So what does the US do when we receive offers of help to deal with bad people? We go to war with the people offering help. Very odd indeed.
None of these leaders are moral or just. But the fact remains that this war with Russia was 100% avoidable. But the NWO had other plans. So now we all suffer.

Yes. The loss of life is astounding. Even if it’s different than what we are told, it’s still immoral and inexcusable just so the elite can move some money around in different accounts.
