Yes. Kids are spoiled and don’t seem to play outside let alone do any chores anymore. They need to learn a work ethic if they want their allowance or whatever.

Popsicle here. Quail looking good and not huddled. Eggs all frozen and cracked when I collected them. About 15 below wind-chill and getting colder. 8 degrees at 11.am. Headed to cardiologist. Lots of tests to do. Ugh. No one on the roads hardly even the busy ones. People got the 4 lanes to themselves on a big road where the doctor was. A good thing in case a spin and saw slipping.
Got piles of wood in the house and staying nice and warm. Cats under covers. Had one sneak out and raced back in. Tried to break free. Not here. Too many predators.

Looking at the leaves, may be edible. Maybe you got a volunteer hybrid of something you may have planted there? Someone would know for sure.

There it is. Found you on recommended feed or was searching for something. Can’t recall but about a year or two ago and got hooked.

I keep 2 incubators. I had one die right in the middle of incubation. I have quail but incubating is the same pretty much Chickens just 4 days longer. Lockdown is last few days with no turning and humidity 65 to 70 percent for either bird. I started dry as the humidity was spot on without water added at the time. It varies whether dry or add dampened foam depending on time of year. Winter need to add more humidity.
Never heard of using hydrogen peroxide for either myself. Satisfied with hatch rate as I do around 50 as I expect losses. Hard to candle quail eggs so I don’t.
