I’m in west Tennessee an hour and a half from Nashville … i moved to my small homestead a little over 7 years ago and i too had red clay soil …. when we first moved here we added lime and calcium … but yes i agree have your soil tested for sure … we planted that first year with not adding anything else to our soil and had a great garden … we just fed the plants … than ever year since we have added our own compost of leaves , coffee grounds , worm castings , wood chips , clippings from trees , veggie scraps ..etc. we made a pallet bin to make our compost in .. (note plant you a cover crop this fall daikon radishes or clover work well here in Tennessee

Well Best They Know The Truth , Because Now Days If You Don’t Teach Your Children That God Made Males To Be Males And Females To Be Females … The World Will Sure Teach Them They Can Be Anything They Want to Be … And The World Sure Don’t Mean That In The Same Way That Was Meant Years Ago …

Yes I have Canned Up Both Veggies And Meat The Last 3 Years …. I learned To Can When I Was Nine Years Old… My Parents Always Said No Child Of Theirs Could Leave Home Unless They Knew How To Raise Their Own Food , Hunt Their Own Food … And Store Their Own Food .. Thank God My Parents Raised Me The Same Way My Grandparents Who Were Dirt Farmers Raised Them … I Got Married And Left Home At Age 15 .. Swearing I Would Never Garden Again , Farm Again Or Can Again … LoL 😂🤣 … My Daddy Told Me I Would Come Back To Farming … He Was Right , Once It’s In Your Blood .. You Always Come Home To What You Know .. And Are Smart Enough To Want To Learn Even More .. (Cynthia) The_Jesus_People_Homestead

(when canning meat it’s 90 minutes for quarts and 75 minutes for Pints)
