Personally, I’d like videos. I’d rather come here than you tube. So instead of “school of you tube” it would be ” school of freestead.” 🙏 I learned more about rabbits last night but it would be more educational with video. Spiritual meat belongs here not google.

Congratulations to both winners, I’d like to see videos on how to fertilize your crops or garden with natural fertilizer for those could not afford the ever-growing price of store bought fertilizer. Maybe a little more instructions on what types of fertilizers to use on what types of plants as well. Thank you for all you do, blessings to all. Theresa and family

– As far as new content that the tube would allow…I’m still going through older Deep South Homestead videos. Danny and Wanda have covered pretty much everything! 🤷‍♀️ Maybe new video with bity clips of the old video. Explain what did or didn’t work, emphasize bug/weather from then verses now, new smoking bacon vid with bity clip of the smoker build. Just random ideas.

I was thinking of letting the kiddos start a little free newsletter for friends and family and the little country road down here. It would be “Good News”, including such things as poetry, a short story, a comic, recipes, a little how-to expose, an interview with some older and wiser folks about their past and what they enjoyed as children. My kids need older people to learn from and love on. So, is there a way to do a Freesteading Poetry contest, photography contest, kids’ recipe contest? The contest idea is fun and a good motivator! Also, old games for kids to play. You know, the outdoor games we all used to play. In Middle Age, its hard to find the way back to those and just enjoy the breaks in between work!

Congratulations winners! I love the gardening how to’s and the tips on organic insect control like the flour to control aphids. I couldn’t believe how well that works. I am going to try chickens this year. I would like how to’s, tips on caring for them and rabbits. Even though you’ve done videos on most topics it’s nice to see the current years successes and failures and how to deal with it. Always something new to learn. Also recipes with Wanda and cooking tips and canning to make things easier in the kitchen
