Texas Redbud, Carmine Goumi and seaberry could work. Also you could look into some other plants.. Purple Hyacinth Bean, Cherokee Bean, red clover, plus the others adjust mentioned! Best of luck!

I usually wait one season. But, if it’s grown large enough, you can dig it up and see what you’re working with. If it’s got enough root mass you could easily snap off a handful of 2-4″ pieces and start a few more plants. And the original plant crown should take right back off!

Lots of places to get comfrey from. I would look local first or at least within a similar zone. I have had better results from planting straight into the ground 1-2″ deep and keeping it well watered. Recently divided and planted 25 or so root pieces and within 3 weeks have plants with multiple leaves. Zone 7b Clover SC.

You could make seed bombs and toss around your property. Another fun option is to become a guerilla gardener and toss those seed bombs around town. B.Lynn I think a tractor solution would be a great fit. It may even give your pup a chance to get used to(read:maybe lose interest lol) the chickens. Or maybe even a small electric fence option to keep them separated.
