Billy, I have a very small ‘orchard’ that I would love to interplant. Been thinking lo g and hard about it…it is also my big dog play yard as he likes chickens too much. Seriously thinking about chicken tractor so he can roam and I can plant.haha

B.Lynn I think a tractor solution would be a great fit. It may even give your pup a chance to get used to(read:maybe lose interest lol) the chickens. Or maybe even a small electric fence option to keep them separated.

We have an electro net, our dog got bit once and will hardly go out to that area of the yard.

Good to know, I had Mystic Onyx chick but dogs got to them about 2 weeks of them being in the coop. Live and learn. Dogs were handled, I was planning to bump up fencing to weld wire and invest in electric fence for the remaining dogs, which are mine who were inside during the “attack on chickens”. I just got in some Barred Rock (8 hens-1 Roo) & 1 ISA Brown (hen) chicks today. Thanks for the electro fence and dog info👍🏻
