Read up on or watch some YouTube channels that inspire you
Plan your garden, plan/work on some projects to improve what you have going on with your homestead.
The library has a wealth of books
Also, you can meet people at the library, possibly find like minded people. Another place is at local grain stores. You just might find some who enjoy card or board games.
This past weekend, and today, I was going through our pantry, reorganizing, and making a list of what we would like to have on hand.
Do you enjoy creative work? I sew, crochet, bake, preserve food, create fresh medicinal items, etc., while my husband loves woodworking, and sometimes when time allows, he paints (pictures), does leather work, and I picked him up some carving tools.

Yet, since we are in the midst of winter, we really could not see the land lay-out of the 52 acres. So definitely go when weather allows (if you are dealing with snow and ice).
The reason we walked away was because the buildings that were there, all needed to be torn down, except “maybe” one, which we could not get to. We all had to park at the road, with all walking about a 1/4 mile up the drive due to them not plowing it out.
It was an off-grid property that sold veggies and the like, yet it was neglected, and our age, the amt of “stuff” that was everywhere, in some places hoarded, musty and moldy, so we left because it would be too much work for our youthful spirits with some aging concerns.
Definitely, before purchasing, know the land, get someone knowledgable in knowing how to source whether it has water, etc.

We all experience glitches in our attempts, yet not giving up is what gets us through, while allowing us to think outside the box!!

When I ran my sewing business, I started to take cc’s, but at that time I could not charge the customer. Now, businesses are charging for them. Yes, reward cards cost a business extra money, as well as 2nd swipes.
The banking system gets a cut from both the business and consumer.

π’ yet still a loss. Remain optimistic. It in trials we grow and thrive.
