Thank you for sharing. That is amazing to see and I hope we do see more. I heard that The Chosen actually beat out a headliner movie at the theater.

I can say first hand that dehydrated fruit stored vacuumed sealed in mason jar are good past 5 yrs.

Another great thing I ran across is making mushroom powder. High on protein and super tasty in dishes.

  • Thank you!! So much for freedom of speech, huh?

Yep. The companies don’t have to tell you about changes they are making to food. So, it might be the same food but it might not be the same quality. We let ours free range, snacks and feed. On the days I give them extra protein, we get 6-7 eggs.

Perma pastures! We bought some cuttings from them and had no issues. They are quick on the delivery as well. I also recommend the bone sauce to put on the trunk of your trees to keep away deer, etc.

  • Canning and growing most of my vegetables. This year and I determined to be as waste free as possible.

    I can relate too.

I had a respiratory infection in November and our wonderfully broken healthcare system said…”wait and if you are not better in another week call back”. There was an antibiotic shortage so that added to it. So, I paid my fee and then decided it was time to go to Gods medicine cabinet.

Here is what cured me… a mix of dried comfrey/peppermint leaves steeped in a tea twice a day and two cloves of garlic a day.

Funny thing is…I grew the comfrey and dried it for my chickens in case I needed an additional protein source for them. Who knew I would be the one in need of it.

Got to give credit to PermaPastures farm who sold me the comfrey plants and gave me the idea to store it.

My 2023 medicine cabinet will look a whole lot different this year.

Thanks to God and good folks going back to basics and teaching us all.

Yeah, what where you plant it because they will help themselves to it if you let them. Haha

I have several sources for seeds. Baker creek, migardener, seeds n such and some saved from growing from the bought seeds.

We could also start with some varieties that we didn’t like…nothing wrong with seed, just my taste buds.

I can post what I have and the year they were packed. Thoughts?

I don’t want to waste them and feel someone who get some benefit from them.

Good example: tomato seeds. I have bought a ton to find the right ones. Now I have a LOT extra.

Same here. Now that they don’t have to post changes on labels ( I don’t remember when that happened) it is scary to me what I am feeding my animals. It seems that the protein has dropped because when I supplement with more… more eggs and less “picking”.

Just observations on my side and a ton of research.

    Keep posting links.,. They help.

Azure is my preference for a lot!

We had been buying Purina and heard there were issues seen with it, Dumor and producers pride.

So…we are getting ready to do our own mix using Azure. They are the best priced on ingredients and great quality.
