Do both. Some things do great and something’s need to be planted in the ground.

Check with American prepper. This is old news. I have a Berky. My water makes me sick and tastes bad. The Berky works for me.

Don’t you just hate it when you’re out in the coop and there is a random egg on the floor, so I say to myself now you’ll have to be careful as I slip the egg into my pocket of my jacket. I’m finally finished when I leaned on the side of the coop. I hear that sound and feel the crunch of wet sticky egg in my pocket.

I owned a 4000 sq foot gallery. I know exactly what you mean. I didn’t loose it I just closed it. That was a bad year for almost everyone. I really love the ranch style, but limited to that style. For me, I’d have a good sized kitchen living area where friends and family can visit, but most importantly it has to have a studio. I’m an artist and I work lots of mediums. a basement would be great pray least a root cellar.

Yup I’m 72 and it’s just me. The hardest thing for me is that it’s for just me. Everyone has grown up and moved away. However I love this life my chicns make me laugh except that arnery little rooster who keeps trying to flog me. I love to garden, can even butchering my meat birds gave me a feeling of accomplishment. I’m canning everything. Dehydrating as much as I can. I do as much as I can and that’s enough.

Bi-Mart is a member owned chain in the west. I used to buy a brand of chicken feed called payback. In the exact time period, my chickens stop laying. Unfortunately I bought enough feed for the winter. enoughght enough feed for the winter
