I’m not planting a fall garden, I should of gotten my seeds planted for starts. But I just picked a huge bunch of green beans. I’m canning some, making leather jackets and some I have to shell. Got a few more tomatoes to can and probably will pick the green ones to ripen in the house. I just canned up 13 jars of field peas and waiting on more to ripen. Greetings and Christ peace be with you both from Marengo, Ohio. Gosh, it’s been so long since I’ve been watching you both on YouTube that I don’t remember when or how I started watching your channel. I love all of your videos, but I have to say that my favorite ones are Porch time, the gardening, the preservation of the food and canning. I’m enjoying this platform but I’ve been so busy with my own garden and preservation of food that I haven’t had much time to contribute anything here. I just finished putting up 14 &1/2 gallons of tomatoes in my freezer getting ready to make sauces out of them. I have green beans ready to pick to can up and make leather jackets out of them while waiting on several types of field peas and the butter beans to pick. God bless you both. Did Curtis say how he found out about this technic? I’m just curious.. I’m not sure what the results would look like. Is this about clearing away the chem trials? And how long does this keep the area clean? I know that I should watch his video to get the answers but I thought that I would ask what you think about it. Following.
