Not all of us were trained by your “Mentors” or yogis or bush-jedi or whatever. If you think that you have something useful to share then why not just share it? The “I know something you don’t know” nonsense is irritating.

Truth. My diet has primarily been rice, tuna, oatmeal, and eggs for the last few months. 1 of 5 stars, would not recommend. The bright side is that I have absoutely shifted my focus from filling more 5 gallon buckets with dry goods to seriously studying permaculture design.

Learning about winter survival shelters is tough. The last time I asked for help building a big igloo, the feds shot my dog.

No worries. Nothing is learned when things are deleted, and there is way too much of that these days. I’m always up for learning somthing new, but I interpreted the specific stipulation of “without doing any reseach” to mean that you’d be providing the information. In the future, I’ll try to ask better questions and make fewer assumptions.

30-something year old male here, 55lbs hurts really bad after about 40 miles.

At the moment, members aren’t able to create new groups. Members can create new discussions in the forum sections of existing groups though. Instead of waiting for new groups for every niche, people in TN could just start discussions (forum threads) for TN specific interests in the TN Group.
For example, once the Survival Group was created, I kicked off four different threads for things that fall under that umbrella. It’s different than FB for sure, but it works.

Maybe kick off a thread for your state in the forum section of the Australia group? People in the US could do the same for counties in their state.

Starting a “Communications” discussion in the forum section of the “Survival” group might be a good place to talk about this until more groups become available.
