I have 1 more year until I’m eligible to retire from the military, and I plan to use that time to learn as much as possible about homesteading and permaculture.

As soon as I retire, I plan to drag my wife, at least one of the kids, and both of my dogs to the middle of nowhere and “live for a living” (quote credit to Eustace Conway).

Currently considering western NC, eastern TN and KY, as well as WV to build and retire.
