Also, I would like to be able to go right back to where I was in the feed or in a thread after I click into a specific response or specific conversation. I really love that the feed seems to be a true newest added time based feed, and I hate algorythms like facebook has. But when I have spent a few minutes scrolling through the feed, I dont want to have to start over just because I clicked into a conversation to read the whole thread. Is it a difficult thing to write that into the code, for the back arrow to take you right back to where you were? I wouldn’t know. Im “just” a tester lol. Really good at reading code and pinpointing flaws but just now learning to write in my old age!

Sister! You just said what I couldn’t muster up. I digressed from a desktop Mac to a MacBook pro, to this “smart” phone due to a house fire. My eyes are literally bleeding from trying to read the ant sized text, and am practically having to log back in! when I navigate. But this sharing with “my people” has pulled me from utter despondency. Muck love, kelly

There are some great suggestions in this thread. Most of my thoughts have already been covered. I watch a youtube channel called southernprepper1, he does ‘boots on the ground’ where people from all over give news that are happening locally that you wouldn’t necessarily get otherwise. I think it would be really interesting to have an ongoing thread we could pass along tidbits of news like boots on the ground.

Please no rainbow, unicorn or such, maybe that is just me but please no.

Hi, I watch SouthernPrepper1 as well. I heard about that channel as well as Pinball from Appalachia’s homestead Youtube channel. Good to know what’s going on in other parts of the country!!! and world!!!

Not a prepping idea but a long c.o.v.i.d. support group

Dr Andrew Kaufman, Dr Tom Cowan, Can help, but not on YT. you will find them on Rumble, Bitchute or Odysee format. Pastures germ theory is called into question frequently, in favor of Beauchamp, who explained that illness is a cleansing of toxins, and could be embraced, by fasting, allowing fever, not masking symptoms, taking herbs to move bowls and enhance the cleanse. Feel better soon, sister💜

Ty for info. Will look it up. Been over 1yr and a half. Very disheartening.

Im on month 10. Nov 11 2021 is when I got sick with Delta and Christmas week I got Omicron. Each week I am seeing teeny tiny bits of progress but its still discouraging sometimes. EVERYTHING makes my heart pound and I get dizzy and black out.

Me as well with heart , brain fog and the list goes on. But each day I try to accomplish something and keep moving forward

A friend of mine finally got some relief using ivermectin; I think the protocol was to take it for 5 days. I also understand that glutathione can help; NAC could also help, but I think the FDA recently had it pulled off the market (!) If you had the injection, these may still help – I just don’t have much info on it.
-
I pulled these, but there are more . . . if you go to TimeToFreeAmerica.com and look for their page on treatments, they have a list of doctors that will treat you, as well as studies providing evidence of efficacy for ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine and budesonide. Now, in most cases they don’t take insurance but the one I used was reasonable – in fact it would cost me more for an office visit with my local clinic!

I agree. If I have been busy for a few days, then come in to read the happenings, it is hard to find where I am at. The notifications tell me someone responded, but I have to spend so much time finding the location.
I feel like I might be missing something. So, I end up going to my feed to see if it was in response to something I might have shared. -
I hope that there will be a group started on here soon on how to start a local MAG in our own areas.

Seed Swap / Seed Exchange
@Squashmania suggested it on a post at the Deep South Homestead discussion group.
I think that is a great idea. Would need to have some information collected about the seeds, for good search capabilities (how old, heritage/non-gmo, what region were they grown, how have they been stored, how many available, etc)

I’ve been recycling and gardening my entire adult life and enjoy reading about those who have gone completely or even partially off grid. I would love to live this lifestyle, but I’m single and there is no way I could do it myself. It would be nice if there was a page where singles could go to meet and communicate.
-
I’ve also been recycling for years. Sometimes that can make if difficult in throwing something out. LOL

I would like to see the site bring people together physically as neighbors as well as virtually. I would like to see profiles expanded (list of interests as an example), searchable, and encouraged. I would like to see and encourage some type of voluntary map that I could quickly view to see who is within my state, county, etc and what their interests are. Even if just by User Name, so I could reach out to them virtually. I realize the site is new but there is so much potential available.
-
Groups that we can start for local interests. Maybe I want a group of 10 people that are all local to me. More searchable.

OK, I just ran into this. I was trying to give someone’s post a thumbs up and it would not allow it saying it would be a duplicate post since I had given a previous post a thumbs up. Are we only allowed 1 thumbs up???
-
This is a 1 thumbs up zone!! haha Just kidding. That’s odd. I will look into it. maybe a bug in the system.
-
Thanks, I just wanted to pass it along since I know there’s still kinks to be worked out. Thank you so much for everything that ya’ll are doing to make this possible.

Yes it was tough getting in even on laptop. Kept going back and some freezing. Saw others saying they had a hard time getting to accept them also but worth the trouble it seems. Maybe they will make it easier as we go. Great ideas folks.

I would love to see homegrown herbalist on here. He’s a veterinarian and an herbalist. He treats animals and people. He could answer the questions people are asking about their animals health and issues as well as give advice to people for theirs. He’s recently been a guest on homesteading Family YouTube channel and has his own YouTube channel
