Take out every private company and every individual farm/homestead. Making everyone dependent on just one mega establishment. Zorg in the making!
Then use AI to run it?!

I definitely need to learn to tap my two maples and how to make a starter dough. Later this year I want to make soap using my own Lye when I collected enough ashes.
I may not have everything on the list, but I think I’m pretty versed in a lot of things.

I thought about lemon juice, I might split several portions and try various things.

Great, thanks, I’ll check it out.

MemberFebruary 3, 2023 at 12:46 am in reply to: Chicken Feed stop laying… another confirmation.Omg, thanks for all the info. I had a broody hen last year. Since it was the first time and I didn’t know if she would finish the job, I gave her only three eggs which two of them hatched and the third didn’t make it. I really hope I can count on her again this year.
I’ve started looking into incubators and found the Magicfly Digital Mini Fully Automatic Egg Incubator seems to be a great fit. Since I’m working three days a week plus additional irregular hours, I definitely need something fully automatic and reliable since I can’t trust my husband to keep an eye on it.
I still want to learn everything I can about incubating “manually “ just in case everything else fails.
Tomorrow is a day off and I’m going to check some more on incubators plus I want to talk to some local nurseries and see if I can interest someone to start varying chicken feed in lieu of the current eve.
Thanks for the links, I’ll definitely check them out.

Just research DUMBS. The so called “elite “ is to my knowledge preparing to disappear into the underground when things turn nuklear. Supposedly, everything is A1 quality pure food.

I already looked into incubators, just in case none of my girls want to do this job. I know definitely that my eggs are viable and they’re all picking up with laying again even my youngest has started laying a couple of days ago. Mine sort of never really stopped.
I also want to figure out how I could create a “manual “ incubator without needing electricity, just in case everything else fails. It would be tough, but worth a try.

All of this would so fall in line with everything else that’s going on with the supply chain and the vax. Making everyone and everything sterile – all out full control .
When they start laying again, crack open an egg and check for the bulls eye, if there is one great, if not, then we have to worry.

MemberFebruary 1, 2023 at 3:22 am in reply to: Chicken Feed stop laying… another confirmation. We can only work around it. I’m going to talk to some local garden centers, maybe they’re willing to stock individually bagged grains so we can mix it ourselves.
Meanwhile, I’m glad that most of my feed has been purchased before September. I also feed my girls a good mix including wild bird seeds from Lowe’s and they can forage all they want.
Like I said, our best bet is to work around it and as local as possible.

It never occurred to me, but I taught myself a lot of things as well on the basis of: if the info is out there, I can learn it.
This morning, I taught myself how to butcher a chicken 🐓🍗 and got one step closer to completing my ‘need to know how to’ list. 👍
