This weekend has been relaxing, a little bit of rain, made for a nice walk after. Watching football and reading a book for today. Just thinking about tomorrow and what all needs to be done, not really sure what will get done, that’s for tomorrow anyway. Last couple of weeks got some home work done, still another room to do and always garden work. I’ll decide tomorrow…..

My Dream house would come with enough land for livestock and to hunt on with a lake full of fish.

I love my battery power tool but I also love my electric tool, don’t have a battery power tiller, I do have a Sun Joe electric tiller that’s awesome, some jobs I need more time or power then battery power tools can handle, so I have both. As long as we have the sun I can run and charge them. My husband prefers his gas and air power tools and they are better tools. However I can’t start any pull start tool so they are of no use to me.

Buying a greenhouse isn’t something I can do. Between what’s falling from the sky and the bugs having one would help in getting a good harvest year round. Already have some lumber and hardware cloth to do the end walls and bracing if am chosen. It would be a blessing and a dream come to fulfillment in providing for my family future. There is only so much you can do with cattle panels. Thank you and Grower Solutions for this opportunity, and good luck to all who enter.

I was watching YouTube when I heard about The Freesteading Community, I joined because I need all the knowledge and information I can get from real people who are living the lifestyle. I joined a few community groups and posted what I wanted to find and grow, well up popped a reply to just send a member an email and we’d set up a time to get the plants I’ve been looking for over a year. Last Friday, I took a trip just down the road and got different seeds, sugarcane, peppercorn, aloe and shrimp plants. Had a wonderful time talking with folks who are living the way I hope to be. With these crops to grow am getting that much closer to living the dream myself. Being around like minded people is fantastic, they understand exactly why I want to have a garden and some chickens, unlike some in my family who just don’t get it.

Glad you thought about that, it’s a wonderful ideal, alway useful to have more ways to get in contact with each other.

I was surprised by how friendly and helpful the community is, Freesteading has open so many connections for me, to a lot of like minded people who don’t mind helping anyway they can. Can’t wait for when the market opens, am looking forward to it very much. I’d tried catching Deepsouth Homestead on Esty so many times, being able to stop by and get plants was wonderful. I now have the plants I’ve wanted for over 2 years growing on my land. That brings a big smile to my heart.

Connecting with people who enjoy Homesteading is always a pleasure, getting to see how they have their homesteads set up, gives me ideals on ways I would like to add to my place. This is the perfect weather in Mississippi to be planting, I was blessed to get a trunk load of purple sugarcane going into the ground today. The peppercorn is doing wonderful so am extremely happy to have both plants and more to grow on my little homestead.

Art, you are completely right, at one time I was naive, thinking am nobody and my post don’t really mean anything in the big World Wide Web, however AI pays attention to nobodies.
