I solved my mouse and squirrel problem with two cats. They are fed very little by me and are doing an awesome job living at the chicken pen. And the chickens dont pay them any attention.

One of my Mothers meds has been on back order for 4 months. Finally it arrived and thankfully she received a 5 month supply. Not sure how to stockpile prescription meds when we are only allowed a few at a time.

The dried milk I was gifted is in plastic pouches. I think I will be vacuum sealing them. And that is a great idea to leave them in the package they came in.

About the plants needing more shade. I am in the same zone as you just a little farther north. Today I was thinking about moving my garden to a lower elevation in my yard. Last summer the heat and drought killed everything except okra. I have noticed that pecan trees in my area have produced very little if no nuts this year. But miles up the road a few trees are full and then none for another few miles. Even my garlic is not doing good this year, so yes I feel like something has changed. Not sure what changed it but I know something has.

SMOKE ON THE WATER by Deep Purple. That music hypes me up. My brothers played this kind of music and since I was the youngest of 4, I got a taste of good music very early in life. Would not trade it for nothing. Now time to entertain my lovely neighbors. HEHEHEHE

Great idea on the wasp stings. I go into antiflactic shock when I am stung by a wasp or bee. Not sure anything would help other than epi pen. If I get stung and leave this world, my heart is right with God and I am ready.

I am drying my first picking of golden rod to make tinature or tea. There are so many health benefits to this amazing plant.
