Nice! Thanks for sharing! I have an area I’m going to try this method on.

We bought ours from Bootstrap Farmer, they’re in Texas, although I’m not sure if it’s anywhere near you. It’s supposed to last 4 years. https://www.bootstrapfarmer.com/

I am super interested in this topic! I’m under they impression cats, unlike dogs, need Taurine and another I supplement I can’t recall off hand to stay healthy, that’s provided via commercial bagged feed.
I was thinking it’d be awesome to just raise extra meat chickens for the cats and give them a raw food diet but I think you need to be cautious about how much bone to meat ratio they get.

Elderberry, valerian, mullein, echinacea, lemon balm and plantain to name a few. We also collect propolis from our bees and make a tincture from that.

My friend has goats and she has the same problems described by Ozark-Kat. Led by the buck, once they even somehow figured out a way to get up on her garage roof, jumped down on her husband’s truck and escaped. That time a neighbor called the sheriff. According to her, electric fencing doesn’t even always keep them in.
I’ve decided if we get a dairy animal, it’ll definitely be a cow. They’re big but they aren’t constantly plotting their escape, lol.

In Southwestern Michigan the temps got down to -15 wind chill. We’re not far from Lake Michigan and it’s been snowing almost non stop since Wednesday night, we’ve gotten between 2 and 3 feet.
We covered the chicken coop with plastic to help keep the extreme winds at bay. They’re refusing to come out of the hen house, so we stuck their food and water up there. We’re checking on them and their water regularly and they seem to be taking it all in stride. They’re warm and clucking happily.

Lol Each magazine has a few recipes in it. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in me posting some of them. Here’s a page from the March 1959.I love these!! Thank you for posting!! We are definitely good for 3 months, working towards 6 months and then a one year’s supply.

I like that idea, having separate boo boo and trauma kits. That’s smart!

Thank you!! I looked for copies send there’s a few versions. One was from 1980, is that the same version as yours or is it the 1990 version you have?

I got their catalog this year and they have several I want. Have you had a good experience with their company and seeds?
