We faired pretty good. I’ve been doing this a LONG time.

We have back up, of back up, heat and electric, in case we lose power. Besides, I’ve got 3 big dogs to keep me warm. They do a good job when Charles is gone. ;).

-8 with a windchill of -37. I live in North Central Kansas. My, and your, friends East of me had it worse than we did.

Too cold for my blood. Ready to retire somewhere warmer.

Oh boy. I’m trying to wrap my head around lugging all those bins outside. Lol

I’m going to start them in 4″ Cow Pots. Then put them out in February. I’m working on a mini greenhouse to go over the 5 foot tank I’ll grow them in. Then use an inverted clay pot and candle to keep it warm if the temperature gets frigid. A friend of mine kept her greens alive, with those clay pots, during our sub zero temps, under a low tunnel. It was amazing, to say the least. 🙂
