Hey y’all, I’m Nana. I am here to learn. Waiting on my daughter to get fed up with the public school system and pull her child out so I can unschool him full time and not just weekends and summers. My background is in Early Education.

I couldn’t see the picture but I have white cotton sheets from the thrift store that can be boiled and bleached for bandages. Cayenne pepper works as blood stop. Most kids and animals only let you try it once. Lol. And white cotton thread to crochet bandage ace wraps. The directions are online.

Im in zone 8. One of my coldest winters I put my grow out rabbit cages in the greenhouse for the winter. I had food all season. Then in the spring I planted tomatoes where the rabbits were and had a jackpot harvest.

Folks around here run corn through a chipper/shredder.

LDS Humanitarian Services has a pattern. If you are on Pinterest search crochet bandages for several patterns. Also look up Leprosy bandages.

Have you thought about dehydrating them?

This its my first year with Tamuk breed. Finally found some out here. Not quiet old enough for breeding yet. Favorite way to eat rabbit is rabbit (chicken) salad. Great for all my hot summer days. I mix rabbit and chicken together when canning. It all seasons and tastes the same. I also make rosemary rabbit broth for winter soups.

I think they slow the speed down and pour in whole corn and then feed turkeys and chickens
