Much wisdom in this post. This reply is being written 2 days after Christmas. Family gatherings are both a blessing and stressful. I am grateful to have family together but I have 2 daughter in laws that are not fond of each other and basically give each other the silent treatment đ˘ I canât fix it so I just pray and ask God to work in their hearts. Love them both but canât fix it. My husband and me are dealing with his cancer treatment, he is one of my top priorities. Bless you, Wanda for all that you share with us.

As a 70 year old Grandmother, I admire your can do attitude. Many things in our married life, I just depended on my husband. He is 76 and battling lung and right kidney cancer. I realize there are many things that I need to learn. During our last hard freeze, I had to learn all the places to take care of to keep pipes and faucets from freezing. He does not have much energy at this time because of chemo treatments. I pray that my health stays ok and that I have to call on our 2 sons as little as possible.

I admire people like you and your family. My son is always in need of extra money, he just sold a scrap boat for $950. that he gave very little for.

My husband has recently started facing cancer and I suddenly realize the need to learn things that I never knew how to do because I always relied on him. I say to myself, âDummy, why didnât you trying to learn all alongâđ.
