My granddaughter is a nurse, 24 yrs old. She has a three yr old and a 12 yr old step-son. Her job made the jab mandatory so she took it and one booster. She spent several days in the hospital with myocarditis Now she can’t walk across the room or run after her baby without getting out of breath. She was a trauma nurse who now works a desk job. The damage to her heart is permanent.

How exciting! It’s so satisfying to harvest all your hard work. Be careful out there, our heat index was already over 100° at 8:30 this morning. (South Mississippi)

We live in an older 800sf rental home. Only 2 tiny closets and no storage. There is a tiny laundry room outside, only accessible from the carport. The house was added on to and has 2 windows in each room with hardly any wall space. I am so tired of the clutter, I told my husband I’m getting rid of this stuff and if we die, we die. He agreed! I would like to have a pleasing home not feel like I am living in a storage shed. The struggle is real 😕

I help my husband who is disabled and help my mother with things she can no longer do at 90 years old. It is very stressful especially since I am disabled too. I don’t get any alone time, but I’m an introvert and need time alone to recharge. So to de-stress I listen to music, all different kinds of music from gospel to blues. I don’t care much for modern music, so I listen to the older music. A line from a Rich Mullins song says ” I want to hear music again cause its the finest thing I have ever found” and I agree. God sure knew what he was doing when he gave us music.

I am still amazed that as much as I love music, I did not take time to learn to play an instrument. I thought there would be time later. But it seems I went from raising a family to being a caregiver. It’s not a necessity in-the grand scheme of things. Playing music and singing is one thing I am looking forward to when God calls me home. Right now, I will take listening and singing along while I do life.
