Be a Berean about all things despite appearances.
Some Christian podcasters visited the scene of this movement and reported despite great numbers and emotions, no one was giving the Gospel. It was also stated that actually there was not much Biblical teaching at all. Don’t know if true, but data.
The current movie The Jesus Revolution is getting lots of airplay. It is a highly sanitized version of events of the Jesus Revival with everyone being portrayed in a good light, especially Chuck Smith. Ronnie Frisbee was in the center of the Hippie Movement in CA and was sadly involved in the homosexual lifestyle for years. (Tragically he had been sexually abused as a kid and eventually died of AIDS.) He was married for a time to Connie and they were together during the Calvary Chapel heyday.
Someone recently interviewed Ronnie Frisbee’s widow.. She stated no one asked her anything about the movie. After viewing the film, she said that it was 99% fiction. Connie stated that during their time at Chuck Smith’s church, they had all these people coming in and out of their home and were working non-stop, but that they were so poor, they had to dumpster dive to eat. When they approached Smith wanting marriage counseling, he told them to just go back to work. Chuck paid an assistant to them, but didn’t pay them. It was so bad, they moved to FL. Put a happy face on that behavior.
Regarding the lead actor who portrays Frisbee- I can barely sit through an episode of The Chosen for their completely fictionalized account and departure from events recorded in scripture. Making Matthew the tax collector autistic…why? There was a scene where Mary Magdalene was shown to have a gambling problem, which she relapsed into in a later episode…. not one shred of evidence for that or that she ever reverted to any previous behavior. The creator’s license is not appropriate as it intentionally deceives.
My position is always take these big movements at face value/neutrally until further research is done. The other side can cause all kinds of false revivals, healings, etc. to deceive the brethren. Test the spirit.

It can be a great learning experience and economical, but it has a realistic cost. Go in with eyes open.
Living outside your nation of citizenship is not a panacea. At best it is a negotiated arrangement. As a non- citizen, unlike the US and UK, you have few rights, and in disputes with the locals that becomes apparent. Most nations do not allow you to own land or real property. You will NEVER vote in their elections and are likely to disappear should you stick your nose in their politics especially criticizing in print or attending rally’s. Yes, the cost of living may be lower based on your currency’s value, but in some ways that makes you a fat juicy sheep ripe for girlfriend/ boyfriend schemes, faked car accidents, faked libel claims, etc. Best to live small and keep a measured footprint. Also keep your mouth shut about their religious views and social programs like how we treat the disabled, because “ you’re not a citizen.”
Due to CIA treachery and fake NGOs, if you’re American, you’re suspect. You will find even volunteering at an orphanage may be prohibited or require endless paperwork that never gets approved. Know of expat groups who gave out food to the poor during Cv shut down who got told to cease and desist as it made local govt. look bad. Why? because “we feed our own people” even though that was woefully untrue. If you see someone lying in the street w blood coming out, walk by and get a local to help. It may be a faked trap to extort money or rob you. Even if someone else hit them w the car or motorbike, suddenly you’re the one who ran them over and everyone from the police, judges, victim want apiece of the pie. Being a good guy isn’t rewarded, but punished.
All this said, are them some decent, lovely people to meet and befriend? Yes, but remember, when it comes to brass tacks, familial demands, cultural standards will win out. The relationship you thought you had was a fair weather situation. In many places, money is god and they will do anything to get it.
The last bit is that the post-plandemic landscape doesn’t operate by the same rules. Governments are eyeing citizens as nuisances sitting on assets they want. If you own something as a foreigner, you’re the low hanging fruit. The good old days of retiring to the low cost place may be gone. Proceed with caution.

From my observations in their society, the main weakness with the Chinese military is that they are completely chain of command dependent. In general, only the highest ranking official can make decisions even for minor things. No one better take action without clearance even for obvious reasons like a building is on fire. There are no NCOs as we know of them who lead autonomously if necessary. They do not have the ability to break into smaller groups and function. It is not permitted.
With technology it will help, but there’s still the lack of leadership element. Fighter pilots or navy personnel might fare better.
Where the command has an advantage is sheer numbers and the fact the soldier can be used as human cannon fodder as they will mindlessly obey. Individually what they lack in organization they more than compensate for with brutality. They torture people for sport. That is permitted and encouraged.
The police force and military are named in the Live Human Organ Harvesting charges at The Hague. Literally they use no anesthetic and get strong guys to hold the person down while they harvest liver, kidneys, etc. You’ve got to be some kind of animal to do that.

You sound understandably frustrated. I would be too. Not minimizing the National impact, but remark was meant to be empathetic to you specifically. Yes, we’ll all experience a hit one way or the other.
Trump isn’t saving anything/ anyone; merely an observation that FEMA at Biden’s direction reversed course to now offer aid to the region once Trump’s visit announced. Hopefully they will follow through.

Sorry to read of your situation. I’ve got nothing except prayer to offer.
On the bright side- Once Trump announced he’d go to East Palestine next week, miraculously the FEMA snollygoster decided they qualified for funds. So coincidental…

They’re a hard-ball group to come against. Central Bankers took out Lincoln and Kennedy for trying to reverse fiat cash. If Kissinger’s petro dollar ruse fails with the BRICSE consortium threatening a basket currency, we’ll be in hyperinflation like Lebanon w 90% devaluation of their currency in Feb. ‘23.
