I make my own bread machine mixes and store them in 1/2 gal mason jars.

It is so handy to grab a jar, dump in bread machine then do other things then come back to amazing smell of bread 3 hours later.

I deleted my Facebook account about 4 years ago.

Then I realized the application on my phone was still tracking me.

People without facebook accounts have accounts, the just do not know it.

My solution so far was to get an old Pixel phone 3A and load Lineage OS on it, my phone does not have google services on it.

Below are some suggestions for alternatives.

If you are going hard core prepping, I don’t believe I have found a better video than this.

David has boiled down the most essential items for long term survival. It is near impossible to have everything you need, being able to improvise is critical.

I would suggest perhaps a couple of mason jars with sterile water to pour over / cleanse wounds. next time you can and have an extra place for a jar put water in the jar and have it for emergencies.

Another thing you can add is a phone list, list of nurse friends that are nearby that can walk you thru an emergency. When an emergency happens, you don’t think straight so having the numbers ready for the call can save time when seconds count.

Thank you for sharing your preps!

Yep, so far land has given me a much better return than silver has, Food also has been a better return. Some of the oil I bought ahead of time has given me 100% return.

Spreading out into multiple investments seems the way to go, and heavy on the ones you know you have to have like food.

    Thank you.

I am looking for local barter, I guess the first thing to do is to create a list of items you have and put a dollar value of what you want for them, then post the list at the local feed store on the board there.

I have ethiopian kale seeds and tabasco pepper seeds I would like to trade for other seeds or $.

I do not think it was a disorder, it was reasonable that you budget your food. What he did not consider was his weight was what they were measuring to determine if he won or loss, thus his plan failed. The key would be to use the fewest calories, and drink lots of water right before they weigh you ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yeah, watching how they thought they could get all the calories they needed from what was around was a real wake up call for reality verses fantasy. Also the imparment of judgement when you are low on calories people were doing stupid things after they were hungry.

Funny, I have handed out bibles at prepper meetings..

I believe in having the bible in multiple forms, printed large print so you eyes can see it easily. Have it on your smart phone in print, and in audio form.

Free bible audio bible here, I recommend the Librivox app for phone makes the download easy.

    https://librivox.org/old-testament-world-english-bible/

While you have the internet app bible ->

My favorite audio bible is Max Mclain’s reading of the bible->

I bought the DVD mp3 collection and then copy the books I want to listen to and made playlists.

Yes “FedNow” they are testing it and is reported to be online next July.

So the food shortages should hit next year with the lack of fertilizer, and our fuel reserves gone, force everyone to buy food with “FedNow” cards. Sure looks like a possibility.

I keep as little cash on hand as I can, and instead have food, precious metals, and garden tools.

Other options is to switch to varieties that are nematode resistant, Tan Cheese pumpkins have worked very well for me without this method.

I bought the syringe to give this a go, it sure makes sense to me that this would work.
