I am trying to get going I am two years behind. My wife od 30 y ears passed 4 years ago this December and it sort of put me off then I sold every thing and bought ten Ackers it’s been tough getting it ready to start. I am limited on how much I can do at a time but steady moving that way. Planted last year and out of season freeze killed it all. Going after it again this year. We not only have to prepare for food but also a complete none government economy. At a point there will be no resupply of any thing. If we can’t produce it we will not get it. There will be no power no fule no ordering on line. I had hoped I would never see this happen but here it is and the powers that be ate behind it. No fule no tractors . They will destroy much forest and water supplies just as they did in vietnam. They will still have everything. Power fule so forth. They have been building in mountain cities and underground hwys for many many years. This is what we are up against . Do not think for one minute they ate just going to let us make it. It will be a challenge to survive. Looking for others around oklahoma to network with.

You will have to compost it for years . Black clay will grow anything if you can keep it lose. Everything you can put in it is good. It will have to be amended for a while. Disk your crops under I don’t think you can hurt it.
