I have the same issue retaining information. I try and take 1 herb at a time and learn as much as I can. I make tea first and see if I have an issue with it. I have a log to make note on how it works, the smell, and also how it taste. I expand as I go with adding different herbs. Hope this helps you as it did me.

Recipe for when I’m not feeling well
Equal parts
Chamomile – soothing
Lemon balm – discomfort, aches and pain.
Seep for a few minutes then add
A few drops of mullein tincture – allergies and soar throat
Teaspoon honey – antibacterial and for taste.

They have free range of the yard whenever they choose. We have a”doggie door” for them to use when the barn doors are closed. Works out great. If they get cold they just snuggle up with the cows. It’s hilarious to watch them. Dogs are there to walk the perimeter of the property and keep everyone safe.

Great question!! I hope Mr Danny will share all he knows or at least point us in the right direction to look for the answers. Times are changing quicker than I thought.

No temp, was bottle fed after 1 week old to being weened at 8/9 weeks old. Not gaining as much weight as the others. He’s active but has a cough. He has access to the outside.

I agree Billy, not only is comfey good for wounds, bruises and sprains it also a great fertilizer for your garden.

Reading all these comments and watching today’s porch time was very enlightening. I may not completely understand everything but I believe I’m heading in the right direction.
