We will be recording another episode of our 28 Principles of Freedom series this Friday, Oct 20th. I just wanted to remind everyone that an open invitation exists for anyone wanting to get in on the conversation. We do it through a ZOOM meeting and we try to keep it around an hour to an hour and half. Nothing says we can’t go longer, if we are on a roll. Only stipulation is that you have to be open minded and polite. This week’s episode will be about Principles 20, 21, and 22 (if we get to it)

We have another Homestead Update Livestream coming up Oct 18. This time, we’ll update everyone on what happened at the homestead rotation we hosted this week, talk a little bit on the economics of staging one, discuss dealing with the never ending parade of frustrations that tend to be part and parcel of running a homestead, and whatever else comes up. The last live update was really fun; we hope to see everyone again.

Aw, pallet compost bins…I remember using those when we were in suburbia. Moisture, airiation and mass are the keys to keeping the heat up. You’ll know you are doing it right when the neighborhood possum decides to set up house inside your pile on those cold winter days 🙂

I am coming around to the use of “Progressive” when talking about these groups. The left/right paradigm doesn’t fully cover an explanation of it all anymore.

Your comment raises a question. Are we 100% sure that everyone you lump in to the category “leftists” are actually leftists? I have an inkling that many of the ones stirring up dissent are simply greedy global capitalists (that’s an ideology, NOT an economic theory). They don’t really care about the politics, beyond how they can be used to give them money and power.
