Several key components of an amnesty are that the people seeking one admit they were wrong, apologize, and make amends. Nbne of the people who lied, threatened and destroyed our society over the course of two years have done any of that. From your obnoxious vlot shot obsesced family member to the far away politician that had a hand in destrying our economy, a lot of people have a lot to answer for.

Grumpy G, grew up with parents that were children of the depression and WWII. There is a fine line between frugal and poor. We never did without; I didn’t realize how poor we were until I joined the Marine Corps, though. Started the proper preparedness thing in 1999, then started doing the whole prep-steading thing on a suburban lot (big garden and protein production with quail and rabbits) for about 15 years. We made the leap in to homesteading about 8 years ago.
One thing I’ve realized, even though we never leave the basics behind, homesteading is the ultimate expression of preparedness. Moving somewhere up the spectrum beyond basic prepping/survival-ism should be every ones’s goal.

The discussion premieres at 6PM CST tonight, hope you can drop by and join it.

This week we discuss Principle 23. A free society cannot survive as a republic without a broad program of general education. The conversation doesn’t go exactly like you think it would. If you get a chance drop by and chat about it. Afterwards, be sure to go over to Life Done Free for Tag n Bee’s weekly live stream.

One thing to remember when it comes to “perfect” being the enemy of “good enough”. Strive to always do your best; at the end of the day though, always remember, the chickens don’t really care if that corner is square.

I know it seems like that course of action would be satisfactory. We can’t do that, though. There is a reason we are all here at Freesteading, and share the same passions and ideas as millions of other hard working and patriotic Americans. It’s because we are NOT like the Progressives. If we can not offer a productive way forward on this, or any other issue, then we would be no different than they are. Now, if they choose to slap our hands away, continue to mock and threaten us, or look upon our desire to reconcile as a sign of weakness; well then, in my opinion, we should come down on them with such righteous anger it would seem as if the wrath of God was being directed at them through our very hands.
That’s my belief, take it or leave it.

I see what you did there 👍
