The Green House in the Snow is something else. I built a solar system for one out in western Nebraska this summer with a buddy who is also finishing up a 70 footer for himself right now. It amazing to see one of these full of citrus trees at almost 4000 feet in zone 4. The forced air system really works. The place in Alliance Nebraska that makes these cannot make them fast enough.

This guy was so neat to watch, I found him last year because I was given an 8 year old lemon tree because I have a greenhouse so I should be able to grow it. My greenhouse isnt heated, however it was a gift and I buy lemons every single week so I thought I will figure out how to do this. The design is amazing I absolutely love it, of course the hubby shot me down on changing ours over bahaha because the summer last summer we had to replace the block walls for our greenhouse and then a storm we got also busted some glass panels that we replaced so for now in ohio my lemon tree will sit in my dining room again this winter. Good thing the whole backside of our house is windows and faces the sun 🙂 we get free heat until the sun hides for weeks at a time then its a curse but I can grow a few things in the house too, well what hubby lets me anyways he is not a plants in the house type guy but he loves me so he deals with it one day he may design my greenhouse like this!

Funny you brought up bringing in the plants. The wife’s babies just came in for the winter.

Bahaha my hubby would kick me out. Ive got a lemon tree and 2 giant aloe plants that goes upstairs and in front of the basement window is 2 hibiscus braided trees, a fern and 3 pepper plants. I also have grow lights in the basement for growing food through the winter that has to have heat but the basement isnt an area he spends much time in so he doesnt mind those ones.
