I am not applying for the greenhouse as so many need it more than us. Im just enjoying seeing all the posts and the stories! Its so good to see so many homesteads! Here is our current project; an in ground greenhouse made with the windows we had to replace in our fixer uper house. We are zone 4 and want to grow greens all winter too for our family of 10 plus my parents that live here too. We love homesteading. Keep your eyes up yo the one who ultimately supplies all out needs!

May I ask what you are digging in the top picture? Is it going to be a basement, root cellar? I envy you if it is either of the two. Lol. Good luck!

An in-ground greenhouse for the cold and crazy wind we get. We did this before in CO and could grow greens all year.

I just got done watching the vlog Greenhouse in the Snow, where they grow many varieties of citrus with geothermal heat in Nebraska. It is so ingenious!

We actually built a Geothermal Greenhouse on our Homestead in Wyoming that we sold in June so we could buy our Farm in Kentucky! That thing melted snow in the winter! And Wyoming has some COLD winters!

Hey there! My husband and I just Sold a place in Rozet which is just outside Gillette…..GO POKES…LOL! We’ve purchased a Farm in KY for the growing season and lifestyle! My Husband is a Mcguyver guy & a Natural born Farmer/homesteader and can study something and just build, create and improve just about ANYTHING! We’re in process of naming & branding our place and I haven’t been able to get him up here yet but George LOVES to share & Teach what he knows so absolutely stay in touch and remember NONE of us knows EVERYTHING and there’s no such thing as a stupid question!
