Just curious if anyone believes the anti-Christ is among us now. And if so, any guesses as to who it may be and why.

Scripture tells us that there have been antichrists for a long time.
“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. – 1 John 2:18”
And also the “spirit of antichrist” is at work:
“and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. – 1 John 4:3”
Your question, however, is in reference to the main one of the end times. I have a few suspicions of individuals who would possibly be candidates for that. There are certainly plenty to choose from. I doubt that the obvious evil ones we know about are it, though. Most likely it is someone not yet fully revealed or obvious. Most likely this individual will take the world by surprise. There will even be a period of world peace under his control.
At the present, I have no firm idea.

Thank you. Your last paragraph is exactly what I meant. I don’t know if “he/she” will be revealed in my lifetime but I do believe any Christians still living will be bowled over SHOCKED when “it” is revealed. It will be someone like the pope or a woman (Or at least what will be left of those who will even be acknowledged as women when they are revealed.) Or someone we all thought had been dead for years. I truly hope my LORD returns before I go though. It’s exciting to think about and it doesn’t frighten me in the least. It’s God at work all around us. Nothing is a surprise to Him.

Believes not in GOD but that we can be our own gods
HEAVILY pushes the trans-humanism agenda
Believes freedom is no longer
Believes and speaks about creating a scientific ark – That we as people can do better and can build an ark
Believes and pushes the second heaven (space and traveling)

Whilst this information can be useful in applying discernment, I’m not entirely sure who the actually ANTICHRIST embodiment is. Those who are humble and meek the Lord will bless and they will inherit the earth. (Psalm 37:11-)
The Son of Perdition WILL appear on stage and call himself God and any who don’t worship him will be slain. I can’t say WHO it is. I don’t think we are suppose to know. There are MANY anti-christs: Tesla (Elon Musk entity) Presidential positions, globalists, so-called “Christians” who put a bad name to MY LORD and they’re not even saved, many religious organizations, many many organizations. Go to the Lord in prayer as a humble servant and read your KJV bible. 200+ modern versions have corruptions, the King James stands alone every time, not the NKJV. Studies show. It’s actually easier to read, because it MAKES SENSE.
But what about the NIV? The word “Lucifer” is clean, bald-headed gone and now this creature is identified as the “morning star”. Lucifer is the “morning star” in the NIV.
So we know that in the NIV the “morning star” is a negative, evil figure. Right? He was fallen from heaven. He was cast down to the earth. Can we find the “morning star” anywhere else in the NIV? Yes! The following passages in the NIV show the “morning star” as Jesus Christ! But the NIV just called the fallen creature of Isaiah 14:12 “morning star”. Lucifer AND Jesus are ONE in the NIV! Lord have mercy, Jesus! Help me, Lord.
THIS is WHY I stick to the Authorized, beloved King James from 1611.

As the previous post has stated the spirit of the anti-christ has been with us.
Seeing that the pope has created a new 10 commandments, and has adopted a humanism religion I would say he would be a great candidate for false prophet.
I read a book by Carl Olaff who looked back at the last thousand of years and pointed to times people thought they were living in the final last days. For me if I was living at the time of WWII and saw all of the bloodshed around me and seeing the Jews killed, and how much Hitler was into the occult I would of pinned him as being “the guy”………
I have been starting to think that the beast may be a computer AI, and what will be presented is lying wonders, a robot dies and then is brought back again…….. lying wonders….. But this is just my speculation.
The Anti Christ has to do a few things, and being as powerful a leader as I expect him the be, the Jews will embrace him as the Moses deliverer they have been waiting for, the for the most part have rejected Jesus, but a powerful ruler as the anti christ will be the very ticket they have been wanting as their messiah…. sad to say.
I have contemplated that the anti christ might be a Muslim…. The dome of the rock stands on the holy place, and the Muslims still do animal sacrifice to this day. What if the sacrifice the anti christ stops is that of the Muslims?
The World Economic Forum is another org that is attempting to take the place of God, they openly mock Jesus, but many do that now.
I guess when I read Jesus words to us disciples to “Watch until I come” has the direction of us to be good stewards of what has been entrusted to us, until Jesus comes back, and not to be found wasting resources….. I do like to ask the questions of what does the prophecy means, but I believe it will be just like when Jesus came the first time, most got it wrong. God revealed to shepherds what what hidden to king Herod.

This was so interesting to read through the comments.
There are so many guesses that we can make, yet I find myself simply being cautious around those who slip w/their words and actions. Then again, all Christians can falter, yet reach out to God for his unfailing love. Simply saying, I’m human and I sin, even when I have no desire to sin.Yet, the world is so full of evil right now, by design of he who in charge of such evilness, has recruited so many. In doing so, he has even recruited Christians who no longer call out to God. Those we love who have turned is the hardest. Yet, this is what pleases Lucifer. He takes great pleasure in turning souls and their hearts away from our living God.
We will not know who it is until God reveals him/her to us. And with all the mix-up of who’s who’s with whether they are a she/he, I’m not sure if we will really know the sex of the individual.

Maybe that’s why all this gender nonsense has surfaced at this time. It may be intentional to throw the unbelievers off. But I believe God’s people (the truly born again who are living for Christ) will know without a doubt when He reveals it to us at His perfect time.

Absolutely!! He tells us that the individual will be full of evil, yet not satan. Many have come and live among us, with the evil spirit of lawlessness, yet the antichrist will be that who truly rebels against God and lead many astray.
I agree, what is happening in our world, is the lawlessness of the world and of the spirit, that is what is delusional to those who simply are lost. The more I realized what was going on, the more at peace I have become. Because, in the end, God wins!! Keep the faith folks!!

Reading through the comments was very interesting at least, but I also realized I have lots to learn.
However, I try to keep away from making any guesses about who/what the A.C. could be simply because I don’t want to give any energy/thought into this. We may stir something we don’t want as everything/everyone is connected as we are one ( right?! ) .
Also, as we focus on one or the other, we may not be able to clearly distinguish or recognize at real time, sort of being clouded (but, I thought…) and not being able to listen/hear our Lord’s voice.
Just a thought of mine.

That’s a good guess. I tend to think he will be a lot less obvious and likely. My greatest prayer as of late is for God to show me what He wants me to see and to make it so clear that I cannot mistake it for anything but from Him. And for unmistakable wisdom and discernment. He has been so good to me on so many things but I am most thankful for the ability to discern what is good and true.

They believe that their messiah is the “Mahdi” who is an eqivalent to our anti Christ figure. They believe that what we would call the “false prophet” is actually Jesus, who instead of being the Son of the Father, is a mortal who is subserviant to the Mahdi. Really twisted.
