We have delt with those buggers ever since we moved to the country. Started noticing something…they avoid strongly scented plants…ate the roses off right below ground, but the sage and the bee balm right next to the roses are still standing…3 years later, everything strongly scented is surviving… garlic, lavender, so I have started planting garlic, etc at the corners of my raised beds, etc. We put rabbit wire on the bottom of the raised beds after the first year also.
