I moved everything myself and had family/friends help with some of it. I would weed through some stuff (clothes and other items) if there is something that can be donated or sold. However, I did donate some preps and I wish I never did that!

Thanks everyone. At least it’s not a total waste; I usually only grow food and medicine (nothing really for ornamental only).

LOL I have the opposite probably. I always run out of room and have to get creative where I put things. Also, we’ve just had rain here for like 3 weeks! Corn is heat loving and drought tolerant. I think you should still have time to plant dent corn. Swiss chard also likes the heat and it can probably get away with a missed watering or two. Although you’ll have to research some because I’m in zone 5 – different from you.

I’ve talked to this company and they only sent a few over here to the United States. It isn’t really here yet but they are working on it.

We actually eat lots of garlic so I’ll have to continue and try some of these other suggestions too.

I grew motherwort this year! Good to know. Thabks

I’m going to have to read that. I have always had a bubble from people but I think mine just grew even larger! At least those that are strangers.

I planted Lincoln peas to start with – all the Lincoln seeds I had and my ducks came through and ate them to the ground. Ugh! That was the only plants they touched.

It’s very frustrating especially when you are planning to seed save yourself – it throws that whole planning off!

That’s good to know. I honestly don’t remember because I was so worried about their being a shortage and I only just started more of my own seeds last year. This year, I put a huge focus on perennials especially with everything going on so I wasn’t loyal to any one or two seed companies. I have a feeling I ordered those on Amazon though (so that’s what I get!) because California Mugwort isn’t a common thing to find in a seed catalog.

Lol yes, but I’ll take that frustration over the frustration of dealing with inflation, shortages, and chemical laced foods at the grocery store!

Ugh mine too! The are mostly confined to their run because I have so much in the garden and not all gardens are fenced (working on this) but some will get out and I’ve found clutches of eggs around that I just have to toss to the company at that point. I even had one hen sitting on a large clutch right where we are excavating for a new driveway. She refused to move even with the excavator moving stuff around her so the man called me out and I moved her and nest only to have her flip me the bird and refuse to sit on her eggs again so that wasted all those eggs too!
