I believe, but maybe wrong, that it’s a long the lines of a debit payment but more of a bank transfer. For example, if you work for someone else, like a large company, now a days they only pay direct deposit which means you have to give them that information (ACH number aka routing number) and your account number.

It was not passed down, it was newer. Probably why it broke 🫤 and I didn’t know when I got it, but I will be paying more attention now, it was made in (third letter of the alphabet)ina. 🤦🏼‍♀️

You said you put rain collection water in there but would it be ok for river water? I have seen something like this before I like how you guys use bigger stock pots.

That sounds wonderful! I need to harvest rainwater too but I want to use that for the gardens.

Yes, that’s true, many go solar and it’s a great option for them! I’m not against it. I have a solar light in my chickens coop (don’t work to much in the dead of winter even if the snow is off it) and I tried several solar grow lights for the greenhouse but they didn’t work (China cheaply made garbage). I would not mind trying solar or charging generator or anything that gives you a second option if there’s no sun.

I’m going to definitely look into these different shower options! 😊

These are all great ideas – especially the shower bag! Thank you 😊

I am shying away from solar things because I think, here in Maine and especially in the long winter months, it will not work as well.

It could have been a lot worse. This was mostly water and wind damage in 30-40 degree weather so the temperature wasn’t too much of the issue – it was the rain and wind. I lost one greenhouse 😭 and our driveway was completely damaged.

My cookbook is in a box at the moment as we are redoing some things in the kitchen, but here’s a rabbit sausage recipe from Mother Earth’s News (mine adds back fat because rabbits are so lean – the seasoning is slightly different too but I think if you add a little fat to this, it’ll taste good too).
