Look at Cyclops chargers. This has worked very well for us. They have fuses that can be changed after a lightning strike.

Thank you. These are full size, mixed breed dairy goats, not dwarves. I am rebuilding my herd so I bought a few does from a good friend. Of course these are what she was willing to cull from her goats. The momma is very difficult to get on the milking stand, but the milk is really good and creamy tasting although she makes me cuss alot.

I definitely agree with you about that. Feed has gone through the roof.

So when the time comes, you think I should make arrangements with a farmer that keeps a meat breed bull? I have been thinking of this option.

Well we got er done and in the freezer. My husband does help with the heavy work, but he drove a desk for 20 years and doesn’t have the stomack for most of the dirty work so most of it is done by me. I gave up on the 22, l had a bad kill with it the last time. These hogs are just to large for that, so I used a 20 ga slug. That worked perfectly. I was going to try what biggkidd recommended and had the generator and the compressor ready, but when the time came I did what I always do. Knife work. I don’t think that I will do another that large, it’s just to much work. I have no idea how folks up north handle a moose.

That’s really hard to answer. I’m thinking it takes me about 20 minutes but that all depends on the heat source, and is different each time. you really need to check it often.

I do the pizza on the cast iron the same way I would do with a stone. For a more crispy crust heat up the pan first then toss on the pizza and close the lid.

I was looking for a stone when I came upon the cast iron, thought I would try something a little different this time.
