    Greetings from Vancouver, WA! I generally use my energy to REALLY get to know the plants in my yard and where they are growing. I do what I can to assist such as not pulling them up nor letting animals ruin them. Then, if the time comes where I need something in particular, that’s when I get to work. Of course, there’s benefit in having some things already prepped, but, I basically let the plants enjoy life until needed.

    Here in Vancouver, WA, the temps are in the low 20s. I put cardboard and pine needle branches inside/around my last doe’s box in her cage to help her stay warmer. I too, lost two does and a beautiful buck from the summer heat this year (2022). Decided to keep with just the one doe until spring (2023) and look for a mate for her then.
