My advice would “bee” (Did you see what I did there? 😉) to learn first before you ever get bees. The previous comments are excellent. And then, buy or catch local bees from your area only.

This is my favorite. Pineapple jalapeno preserves 😋We like ours spicy so adjust the jalapeno for your taste.

I put it in my chicken’s feed to keep it from clumping in this high humidity. It also is a natural de-wormer. I also spread it around their coop and run. When I do a deep clean of the coop, I spread a layer on all floors before I put the litter down. It keeps the mites away.

I started watching homesteading videos in about 2017 and all the ones I was watching kept mentioning Danny from Deep South Homestead so I had to go check it out and have been watching y’all ever since. We raise Californians. We too lost a buck to the Texas heat along with a couple of kits. We will be sectioning off a part of the barn for them this winter and adding a small a/c unit for them for next summer. JIC

The only thing about this idea is that random tech and data engineers are why we left other social media sites in the first place. It’s best if only a few trusted people have that much power on this site.
