I agree. It seems as though new medicine is popping up every year. So I do a search then further research. God tends to put in front of us what our bodies need.

  • I’m still learning my way around. Sometimes I don’t see everything, but on a positive note, I don’t feel pressured. Basically, no one has hurt feelings if I don’t respond right away, as we all know we are each also “living” life while getting things done.

So far, no trolls…that is a bonus.

I personally scroll past the negative of things I cannot change. Try to maintain a positive outlook, despite when things don’t go as planned. Yet, I don’t bury my head in the sand. Know just enough, yet staying clear of the “fear”. Fear keeps one from being productive.

The reason I started my youtube channel was to share what I know, what I learn (we are always learning) and my faith. Doing so, has allowed me to focus on the good while providing me a purpose for this moment in time.

My grandchildren are the most welcomed gift. They know that if something needs to be repaired and mended, that they can come visit Grammy and Grampa to help them along, the same as we did for our daughters.

  • I’m a mild Salsa gal LOL
I’ve always saved seeds, but now, as you mentioned, we must start seed saving!

We live on a 1/4 acre and although desire a larger piece of property, we can still grow. This year added chickens. Our town allows 5 but the stores require one to purchase 4 at a time. So, we have 4 LOL
We are planting in various spots, and when necessary, off to the farm stand to bring home what we don’t grow.

That is wonderful. We grow some of our own for healing, yet having alternate resources are very beneficial. Thank you for sharing.

I’ve heard of that book but haven’t yet acquired. She is an excellent source.

I’ve been studying herbs for quite a few years, prior to when I was finally diagnosed with Chronic Persistent Lyme disease. Then I dug deep into them, working towards healing/improving my symptoms and for current ailments for myself, husband and other family members. I was just telling my husband, as I pick a few new ones each year, that one is always learning.

I’m thinking of adopting 4 more next year, or rabbits. I desire the rabbits because their droppings can be used immediately for gardening. We had them years ago when we were homeschooling our daughters. Best flower gardens ever. But, I also want some rabbit meat, yet my husband is not sure he wants that responsibility, so I am hopeful he has great success with hunting this year.

We don’t havea limits on rabbits either. Just on chickens (although I don’t think the city would check) yet no roosters.

    Rabbits are wonderful to have!!

Absolutely!! All the work has brought joy to my heart each morning. Then with the chickens…they come running to me every time they hear me, and throughout the day when I am out in the yard.

Turning off the TV years ago was life changing. Growing more veggies this year is tiring, yet rewarding. We still need the farm stands, but I sleep really well at night!!

Both of them use what they have and share how to make things work. You don’t need acreage, you need a willingness to work.
