Also, I am not sure why this topic is here in a forum for hacking on the homestead. Do you have a way to grow vegies better?

One of my favorite sites is “Earth Clinic” they post suggestions of cures for ailments and people rate them as to how well they worked for them.

You are supposed to collect tax at garage sales, even though you have been taxed on the item already. The IRS is not the code of ethics I want to follow as they have not been kind to conservatives with their endless audits. I have found if they want to cause you problems they will, remember they crucified Jesus, who was perfect, but we have far more faults, there is a 2 level system out there a law for them, and a law for us. When dealing with the IRS it is best to get a good lawyer, or get rid of all income as much as possible and grow food which is not taxed.

It is a bit over my head as well…. That said, I am happy that his guy has shared his design, it is limited in what it can do, but being open sourced other brainy people out there can build on this and make the design even better with more options.

Myself I don’t have the tools to build this and this would be a stretch for me to attempt this, but if it is under $50.00 for this to get all the parts I might consider it.

I do like that it can function as other devices, and it is 100% open for changes in software, that appeals to me. On the other hand the $300.00 charge controllers I only have to hook them up set them then walk away….

I am thinking that when we go to war with China which I think is likely that having the parts to build this would be very very handy…

My solution was to buy up cheap food savers at garage sales, and thrift stores. I am not up to 3 of them and I have the brake device as backup. I don’t trust the small hand held ones they have not past the test of time for me.

You are welcome, Pinball put a link to this in his latest video. as I watched this it was amazing to see a government gave the farmers a choice to change their methods. Unlike today where government makes these choices for you as you either do it or do not get gov money……

We used to have feeders growing up, they would dive bomb one another to get access to them. Amazing graceful they are.
