  • We have eggs in the incubator for that very reason. Plus one of our blue egg layers now lays white eggs. My friend in north Louisiana has the same issue. No telling what was in the feed that caused the egg laying issue but I guarantee it wasn’t good for us non elites.

  • I saw a video of a man who made a huge compost pile by picking up bagged grass clippings in his truck. His chickens get no feed they scratch in the compost pile for protein. I have framed an area to do this near the coop. Filled with yard clippings mostly. The chickens love it.

It would be great if we had a medical system and a new banking system not run by the cabal or evil mass murderers.

We have beans and rice. We put one bucket to donate to the needy. I consider it a tithe. Anyone I know friends or family, neighbors, who wants to sit down at my table will be welcome to eat beans with us.

We canned tons of ground beef with salt, Tony’s, and a clove of garlic in each jar. Some we added chili powder and cumin to use in Mexican dishes. Great on a taco salad. Also we butchered meat birds and canned 8 of those with salt and Tony’s. These are great for making chicken and dumplings. If you have tortillas on hand you can cut up those to use for the dumplings to save time. We have made two batches of cowboy stew. And two batches of chicken tortilla soup. We love this when heated add grated cheese and crunch up tortilla chips for a topping. Also cut up avocado and add a dollop of sour cream if you like those. We also got some large cans of tomato paste for $3 each and recanned them in small jars.

We have dealt with them in the past. Then we got a westie. End of moles, voles, lizards, mice. Westies are great hunters and we’re bred to hunt some kind of underground chipmunk. The only place we still have a rat issue is in the chicken pen. The dogs don’t get to go in there because they eat the poop. 🤢
