Is there a guideline for each zone, or how can you decide for the right shade cloth?

Took this morning the chicks out of the hatching machine together with our son, so proud of him he handled them so gentle.

Started eating and drinking right away on there own, strong healthy looking chicks. 2 eggs back in the machine, tonight candle them to see if they can still hatch.

Next batch are on day 13, after they go in the hatching machine the last batch will go in the breeding machine. And then our breeding season is done for this year, lot a work growing the up, selecting and processing them.

Next year selection on the types we wish, if we can afford us that luxury.

You did good, nice to read how you got the deed done.

Youre dog will learn to, will get some feed from the harvest rabbits.

It is hard I know, my husband does nit want to have anything to do with butchering so I do it myself and together with a butcher and share with his family. Our son can only give the breeders chickens and rabbits a name and knows the none breeders are food for us. I think he will be able to do the job when he is big enough.

Do not feel bad you did good, you know you got the job done fast and respectful.

It is good to stay human with butchering, respect from the start true finish and with preparing and consuming.

Think it is cood we do it all our self with respect and humble, so we realize the offer and gift we are receiving.

Good look you can do it, believe in yourself.

That is a good trick and logical, but you must think of that.

We are in zone 7b, 40 and 50 they said. Still not sure though, think 40 least and maybe ad a 10 or 20 just in case things get crazy.

Like that system chickens do great work.

I put it in the composter, then on the beds and direct in the garden. In the garden the chickens compost it, also mowed grass that way we get some garden back for planting.

4 to 6 rabbits nice, I will stay with 3 for now with the young enough work. Cleaning every day and making compost and fertilizer, they produce more then a horse.
