This is about as true a statement as can be made, and mores the pity for it. Part of the reason we are doing this series is to open people’s minds and get them thinking about their individual freedoms and actions going forward. I call it the black pill/white pill process. The black pill is the knowledge that things are not as right as they should be, and are only going to get worse; unless we do something. The white pill is the answer for “What can we do?”
Now, we could cram yet another black pill down people’s throat’s by going back in history and detailing every instance where it’s gone wrong. If someone is here, paying attention, chances are their bellies are full of black pills, and one more is not going to make a difference, other than potentially sending them down a hole of self pity and fear. They’ve had enough. They need white pills. They need to know that there is a way forward that doesn’t entail all the scary stuff they can envision, and they need to know that they do not have to move forward alone.
Eventually, once their needs are taken care of, hopefully, they become more and more curious as to how we got here, and how is responsible. They’ll start asking the hard questions that will shine a light in the dark corners of our past that enable the inequities of small men to derail the American experience.
In the end, I’ll share the rule we have in our household. For every black pill we serve up, we have to serve a white pill along with it. Otherwise all we are doing is flogging a dead horse and making things worse for someone.
Thanks for watching the videos, we hope you’ve enjoyed them.

At the risk of sounding like a Channel pimp, it premiers tonight at 5:30pm CTS. If you can carve out some time, you should check it out. Tag, from LifeDoneFree,, Spags Unfiltered and I had a great time discussing principles 10 and 11 from the 28 Principles of Freedom. It didn’t turn out like I envisioned; it did turn out to be a great conversion none the less. A large portion of it pertains directly to what is going on here, and someone, if not multiple someones will probably be getting hate mail by the time it’s over. Hope to see you there.
Caution, there is some coarse language at times.

Does anyone have any ideas that wouldn’t lead to arguments, ’cause I hate confrontations and try to avoid stress as much as possible!!
Here is my advice; “Stop trying to convince your spouse.” Hold on, hold on, bear with me. You are married, in a relationship, chained to together like convicts on a road crew; whatever. You are too close and too emotionally invested, which almost always leads to an argument. There are two things you can do in tandem. First, like TagnBee said talk about the world and the way it is. Subtlety guide your spouse’s perspective towards seeing the need to make a change. Next, find someone like minded that your spouse at least respects, if not trusts. Have them make conversation about such a big topic. Have them ask the questions you want to ask, or make the statements you wish to make. You’ll be amazed at what a difference it make coming from a third party. Seriously, what used to lead to your spouse thinking you are a nut job and an argument, when it comes from someone else will, at times, be as though it had come straight from the lips of Almighty Himself. It can be frustrating; it works, though. I’ve seen it first hand.

Brings up the question, how would these forums be moderated. Freesteading.com is all about free speech. Someone has to tidy up the place and sweep the floors, though.

Straight from the Red Star Page:
‘BULK’ YEAST INFORMATION and STORAGE TIPS
The 16oz and 32oz packages of yeast are part of our industrial product line and typically used in bakeries or foodservice. The package is vacuum-packed and should be hard like a brick prior to opening. Once the package is opened, the yeast is free-flowing and must be stored airtight and cold to maintain its leavening power. You may store it in an airtight container, or many people store it in zipper freezer bags, squeezing air out of the bag to the level of the yeast, then sealing the bag. The yeast should be stored in the freezer.
Since it is so dry, it will never freeze solid.
For best results, dry yeast should be used at room temperature before using. Prior to use, measure or weigh only the amount you need and bring to room temperature for about 20 – 30 minutes. Immediately re-seal the bag or container and return the remaining yeast to the freezer.”

Here is my question to people that buy the small packets. Why? It’s more economical to buy a jar, or better yet the one pound blocks of Red Star.

In the freezer. Take out just as much as you’ll need for the next couple of months, and put the rest back in.
