I do follow Permapastures and had the pleasure of meeting them at Farm Where You Live festival in S.C. Mimosa trees I have had in the past and dug every single root of that tree up. They are beautiful but invasive. Thank you for all your information. I will see what the nursery has in stock next week

Hoping to get a greenhouse from Growers Solutions on Black Friday. Build a larger chicken coop that I can actually walk in and hold more chickens.

Yes. I have heard American guinea hogs are great for starting out. I’m looking for 2 females that are not piglets. Hard to find any guinea hogs in S.C. Not ready for that yet. I’m a single grandma in my late sixties still working 3 days a week..

I was told they are 2 years old. I believe they were overfed when I got them. I give them 2 cups pig feed each 2x daily. That’s what KC Farms does

I do have cedar trees on the property. I need to learn about diseases and fruit trees. Not familiar with rust.

What a wealth of info. I’m going to Local Boys Nursery in Salley. I’ve gotten blueberries and apple trees that have done great. Their prices are good too. Thank you so much.

Thank you. Think I might have to feed them 2x daily. They’re always looking hungry

You can do it. It is tiring but rewarding. I’m a 66yo single grandma, just finished raising 2 granddaughters( my daughter passed 2011). Though my ex lives a few miles down the road and helps. I’ve learned to run a tractor. Work 3 days a week. Garden, chickens, tractor work etc. Getting 2 pigs to raise. This is all first time for me. Not getting any younger. Love challenges. Squeezing in all I can at my age. Thank God every night for getting me through another day. I know you can do it. God bless
