I’ve had my Gardenia bush in a large container for four years now , water almost daily especially in the summer , I trim it back when the blooming stops and it has been a wonderful easy bush to grown and keep some years it produces plenty of flowers my favorite scent other years it’s slim picking , but I don’t think pine needles are good they do well with soil and occasional bit of miracle grow I gave it last summer, they are great bushes , I live in section 8 S.C.

Well January is almost gone can’t believe the speed of time , I’m in South Carolina and my dogwood tree is starting to bloom.

South Carolina almost always had beautiful skies, now you hardly ever see blue skies and when there are blue skies, the planes are out in full force , criss crossing, not a couple but many till there is not a spot of blue in the sky.
