Any clear plastic will work, but some won’t last but for a 1 year. I’ve seen a small greenhouse made with serane wrap, and worked great

We always tied paper lunch sacks in a ball shape and hung them where ever they were, and has always left. Think it’s a hornet. Works for wasps not lady bugs

We don’t sift ours we just mix it in the top 3” of our garden beds. The chunks hold water, give something for the good bacteria to live in for awhile longer, and will break down later all good for the plants,
