Tin snips are designed for cutting thin sheet metal while wire cutters are designed for cutting wire. Typically tin snips would cut wire but not vice versa efficiently

Tin snips think scissors for metal and wire cutters just that. As previous replies told you, very different tools for different jobs.

Tin snips for thin or small wire like copper, then u go wire cutters or cable cutters , there both for different things
