That’s a male cougar under the bike.
Cycle group had one of their own grasped in the jaw by a cougar. They fought it off 45 minutes, subduing the cougar (later shot), and saving their friend. Her earring was retrieved on necropsy from cougar’s belly and returned to her as proud souvenir. This is what tough women look like. BTW average age is 60+.

It was a beautiful Pacific Northwest day. Sunny, puffy clouds on the horizon.

This is what I think of everytime I hear “save the cougars” and they release them to the public to deal with.
Tough woman indeed.
