You have to make the connection with the member before you can message them. At the moment, you will have to type in each member’s nickname to send a message to multiple members at the same time. Hopefully, in the future there will be a way to select multiple members or a group of members at one time.

Chat does work if you connect with someone and accept their invitation.

The system from what I understand is running wide open at this time, this means anything posted on your timeline is seen by everyone else. This has been handy as I have been posting questions I have about the system and have had responses I have asked on my own timeline.

Go to Members Search. You can click on the Connect and/or click the person w/plus sign to request a connection. They will get a notification and they can except or decline.

You can also click on each profile picture to find out more about the person if they have put any info in their profile.
