I got what you were saying Mud! I actually have The Young Ones series on VHS, and this brought back great memories of the characters and how they represented exaggerated stereotypes. This scene cracked me up because Rick was such wuss, but thought he was going to change the world and “beat down the pigs” with his heavy handed poetry! LOLOL The Wiki entry describing Rik’s character was spot on:

I appreciate that. Although, I think over time antifa will try to become more organized and trained.

They dress in all black and rarely speak…..Who knows? Are they filled with a foreign legion?

Maybe the armed ones are Russian operatives under Biden’s control since he protects them.

The point is they are not a predictable bunch because you cannot anticipate what insanity will do.

I would say that antifa is a worse threat to the common American than Russia or nuclear war.

Weighing the fact that I’m not already nuked into oblivion and we are in a proxy war that mimics a cold war v2.0…..It’s the violence in the cities getting out of hand I’m most worried about.

This was made 40 years ago. Before BLM and Antifa existed, yet there is a similar interaction we see today represented by these morons on TV. (actually Antifa did exist in Europe before this show was made, so they were the 1st to have an accurate measurement of idiocy to make fun of.)

WHAT YOU SEE HERE IS AN OLD EUROPEAN REPRESENTATION OF HOW ANTIFA USED TO BEHAVE 40+ YEARS AGO…..

You can currently see it in the past weeks as armed black block protect drag queen shows for kids, previously black block was muscle mostly just during “protests”. This is a ramp up of violence by the Liberal left and actions speak louder than words. Let’s wait and watch over the course of the next 6 months and see if I’m wrong. I suspect really stupid things to come from these 2 groups.

As someone being evicted by a BLM Yankee landlady, I can confirm nefarious intent. I have hard copy to submit to clerk, before the hearing & @ the hearing, proving 4 counts of perjury written on eviction notice. My rent is paid till mid November. I have to hire my own court reporter here in Mayberry. The whole town already knows. This is my town, Yankee. I hope to skedaddle someplace quiet after I publicly humiliate her.
